Estuaries and their productive saltmarsh habitats serve as nurseries for many species. Being a nursery means that
  1.this is where most marine animals are born.
  2.animals can live there during both high and low tides.
  3.larvae and juveniles of marine species find shelter, feed, and grow rapidly there.
  4.this is where infant mortality rate is lowest.
