A vertical migration of plankton is responsible for mixing nutrient-rich deep water with the nutrientpoor

ANS: T
They are structurally and biochemically different from vascular plants. These are algae. Algae is a
broad term for any nonvascular organisms that contain chlorophyll and are able to photosynthesize.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: T
This migration is also calm turbulence. These plankton can migrate up and down the water column
