ANS: A
Larger plankton bloom in temperate zones peak in Spring due to increasing lamination. There is
another smaller peak that occurs in Autumn to coincide with upwelling events. Information can be

ANS: B
The most primary productivity occurs at the temperate and southern subpolar regions. This is due to
plenty of dependable sunlight and moderate nutrient supply. Information can be found in the section
