Glance at the signature to ensure the letter has been signed; verify the enclosures and at the same time make a
check mark on the file copy by the enclosure notation to indicate the enclosures were sent; make certain the
addressee on the envelope and on the letter are the same; and if your manager has written a note on the letter,
photocopy it for the file.
