Answer to Question 1

Your co-worker asked you about your commitment to your work. You responded by saying not only did you have a commitment but you had a passionate commitment. Describe this type of commitment. In your response, include specific examples.

Answers may vary, but responses should include mention of the following:

Demonstrate high enthusiasm and energy levels.
Feel or like the thrill of challenge.
Persevere from start to finish on a task, project, etc.
Create enthusiasm and desire to excel among others.
Inspire others to work at their highest level, such as quality of work.

Answer to Question 2

Describe three ways you could involve your audience in your presentation to maintain their interest.

Give a brief survey or checklist asking for opinions related to the topic.
Ask the audience to turn to the person sitting next to them and discuss briefly some point.
Provide brief games that relate to the topic.
Alternate moving and standing still, speaking and listening, doing and thinking.
Add stories, anecdotes, testimonials, analogies, demonstrations.
Use humor appropriatelyalways in good taste.
Read your audience. If the audience starts making movement sounds, and you begin to hear low talking, you are losing them. This will tell you to move on and even omit part of your presentation. Keep an eye on the audience's body language to know when to omit part of your presentation.
