Answer to Question 1

You should avoid cross-contaminating one solvent with another. The easiest way to accomplish this is by always using a new Pasteur pipette.

Answer to Question 2

(0.520 mL/1.00 mmol)(1.32 g/mL)(1000 mmol/mol) = 686 g/mol
