 One reflects interpersonal components: superficial charm, manipulating others, lying to others, selfishness are examples.
 Another factor reflects lifestyle characteristics: excess need for stimulation, poor planning, impulsiveness, unsatisfactory work habits, prone to boredom are examples.
 Another factor reflects deficient emotions, such as low guilt, little empathy, callousness, absence of anxiety.
 The fourth factor is antisocial behavior. This is a necessary characteristic of the criminal psychopath, but not of non-criminal psychopaths.
 Some researchers have proposed that boldness and meanness are also characteristics that should be considered.
