Personnel security: involves protection of people associated with the organization as well as protection from those who might harm the organization or its people.
Information security: protection from loss of intellectual property or personal, proprietary, or confidential information.
Other elements: as subsets of the three above include technical security (countermeasures) and operations security (deny adversaries access to information about one's capabilities).
