Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

Should describe virtues as traits of character that dispose persons to act in ways moral, where vices are traits of character that dispose persons to act in ways indifferent or harmful to themselves and/or others. Specific examples are identified on pages 190 (virtues) and 192 (vices) of the text. Some answers may associate vices with negative emotions and virtues as being corrective, aiding us in overcoming those negative emotions.
