According to the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (2004) the typical profile of a suspect committing Internet auction fraud is that of a male (75) and female (25). The suspects most likely residing in one of the following states: California, New York, Florida, Texas, Illinois, and Ohio.

Answer to Question 2

Several photographs, including one of the suspect, are shown to a witness or victim, and he or she is asked to pick out the perpetrator.
