Margaret Mead suggested that a sexually compatible culture is one where:
 
  a. young women and young men meet in the middle of sexual compatibility. They can then start a family and raise many children.
  b. older men marry young women, leaving them economically secure. Then the women can marry younger men, giving them an economic start.
  c. older men seek young women and schedule sexual activity. The couple can reach economic security together.
