Answer to Question 1

Medina

Answer to Question 2

These groups have engaged in a bloody and violent holy war against Israel marked by attacks, suicide bombings, and assassinations of innocent Israeli civilians. The Palestinian
Jihad organizations are different from earlier groups. These groups do not follow secular ideologies as expressed by Marx, Guevara, and others, but rather are part of the much larger radical and fundamentalist Islamic movement throughout the Middle East. Their philosophical roots are based in the teachings of fundamentalist Islam as expressed by al- Banna and Qutb. Hence, they are focused not only on the liberation of Palestine but on the complete destruction of Israel and the development of an Islamic unified state throughout the Middle East.
