Answer to Question 2

ANSWER:Sound
designers usually begin their process by closely examining the play for opportunities
to use sound effectively.
Most opportunities to use sound are not obvious and demand the careful consideration of
the designer in consultation with the director.
Most sound designers use their study of the play and their imaginations to develop a sound
score.
The sound score provides the function for each intended sound cue.
It also provides when the cue should be heard.
The sound score provides the cue's duration.
It also provides she origin of the sound and what will need to be recorded or used to
make the sound.
