Answer to Question 1

E

Answer to Question 2

The set designer must provide a playable space that allows actors to move about and make their entrances and exits freely. The space he/she creates must be safe for the actors to work in. The designer must consider the practical needs of the text, for instance, the number and placement of entrances and exits, changes in location, and important set elements that take part in the action. The set designer must also account for the architecture of the theatre space. Also, he/she must consider the budget of the production when creating his/her design.
