Draw and label a series of three pictures that represent your macroscopic observations over time (beginning, middle and end of the Activity).

What will be an ideal response?

Question 2

Many people consider matter to be a continuous medium rather than an aggregation of particles.

With this in mind, how might the Case of the Disappearing Alcohol look different if the alcohol was simply one continuous macroscopic object that was not made up of sub-microscopic particles?

Answer to Question 1
