Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

A tonal drawing creates a three-dimensional illusion. Edges are defined by two different areas of tone meeting, not lines. The drawing's outline consists of the intersection of two different tones and contrast between light and dark areas.
An outline drawing has defined visible edges created with lines. Light and dark tones are not apparent on the surface.
