Answer to Question 1

Embedded macros are be triggered by database events such as clicking a field, loading a form, or saving a record. This means to additional action by the user, such as clicking a command button, is required by the user to execute the macro. Embedded macros are also stored within the database object. If that object is exported from the database, the macro is exported and stays within the object.
