Answer to Question 1

An aggregate query performs arithmetic summary functions on the query including sum, average, count, minimum, and maximum. Each column calculates just one aggregate function so if you want to show more than one, you would add the same field multiple times. For example to get all five summary functions of the same field, you would add the field to the query five times.
