An exclusive gift shop located in a resort hotel had net sales last year of 2,430,000 in 2,000 square feet of selling space. Determine the store's sales per square foot.

Sales/sq. ft. = 2,430,000  2,000 sq. ft. = 1,215

Answer to Question 2

Square feet needed = 1,350,000  650 = 2,076.92 sq. ft.
