Answer to Question 1

ANS: T

Answer to Question 2

ANS: F
Screening tests traditionally used with infants by the medical profession may not identify children with cerebral palsy during the first year. Often, the absence of primitive reflexes, abnormal muscle tone, and resting positions (an extended arched position for high tone and a rag doll position for low tone) give clues to the possibility of cerebral palsy.
