Guidelines for working with children who stutter include all of the following except:
 
  A. Tell children to stop and start over or to stop and think about what they are going to say.
  B. If children do not know they stutter, do not call it to their attention.
  C. Do not let other children feel they can catch stuttering. Stuttering is not a disease.
  D. Do not call on children who stutter when they dont volunteer or when they are tired and harassed.
