The children benefit from preserving the language and customs of both cultures. The family is an example that races can co-exist in the same house. The acceptance of multiracial origins usually develops a positive self-image. The children have patience when learning about others cultures.

Sometimes the anger is an outlet for their own fatigue. They may be feeling guilty about not having more time to spend with the child. They may feel pressured because of the cost of child care.
