Talk with them when they pick up their children. Communicate through newsletters, notes, bulletin boards, telephone calls, e-mail, a Web site, a family journal, and social events.

Children who attend child care can participate in supervised activities, have new experiences, make a wider circle of friends than just within their neighborhood, and learn to get along with adults other than their parents.
