Answer to Question 1

ANSWER: Both are open recording methods that use a narrative style of recording; all the actions and quotes of individuals involved with inferences, judgments, and comments are separate from the actual recording. An Anecdotal Recording is the account of an incident from beginning to end; a Running Record is a specimen of normal behavior recorded for a certain period of time as actions occur.
