Answer to Question 1

ANSWER: True

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER: Part A: At three: no conceptualized theme or plot-repetitious activity. Four-year-old: management of aggressive impulses, attack and rescue is a popular theme, props are used, a lot of gross motor activity. At five, dramatization is usually complex and includes both real-life and fantasy roles. In the primary years, children enjoy dramatizing their favorite stories using props and/or puppets.
Part B: Answers should include the four outcomes identified by Elkonin: delay gratification, cognitive decentering, mental representations, and deliberate behaviors. Other answers could include: thinking and imagination, planning, following the rules, regulate behavior, and create a ZPD.
