Answer to Question 1

ANSWER: True

Answer to Question 2

A book that is of little interest to the children can contribute to problems associated with lack of attention and boredom. Children have different interests at different ages. Being aware of them can help a teacher make lessons more effective. Adult interests and adult perceptions of childrens interests do not always coincide with the actual interests of children. Also, the prevalence of television and technology are competing for the attention of children.
