ANSWER: By having tools they are able to work with at their age and skill level, the children have
more success in art projects. Success helps them grow in self-confidence and self-
concept.

Answer to Question 2

One of the best ways to help children attend for longer periods of time is to carefully plan the story lesson and incorporate activities for the children within the story. This may mean such things as repeating certain lines and using hand movements to depict parts of the story.
