Answer to Question 1

Babies stare at objects, listen to an adult's voice, and wave their arms to touch things. Toddlers are mobile and move around the environment exploring with all their senses. As they see, touch, feel, hear, taste, and smell objects, they begin to combine experiences and come to new conclusions about what they have learned. They begin to remember and even think ahead.
