Conducting daily health assessments is important because:
 
  a. there is a direct relationship between health and ability to learn
  b. teachers become more aware of children's individual differences with practice
  c. families expect teachers to be responsible for children's health

(1) Tier I would include enhancements in the regular classroom, for example, presence of technology to aid the student with visual impairments in reading .
(2) Tier II would include a well trained teacher to help oversee a program for a student with visually impairments in the regular classroom and possible tutoring or orientation and mobility training while in this classroom.
(3) Tier III would take place in a special education classroom and may include instruction in Braille, Orientation and Mobility, and other IEP goals.
