Answer to Question 1

Children can spend a great deal of time using entertainment media such as television and video games, and much of what they see or interact with may be violent. Too much of this exposure may lead to interpersonal violence such as bullying.

Answer to Question 2

Very young children whose parents have difficulty in social experiences and are coercive or verbally abusive may have little positive reinforcement or social skills in their lives. Some children who bully may be victims themselves or may have watched intimate partner violence. Parental involvement and warmth may not be present, or parentsmay not set limits or have clear expectations for behavior, soany behavior on the part of the child may be acceptable to the parent. Children who bully may be overwhelmed in their lives by a loss or change, such as the divorce of their parents or a move from familiar surroundings. Young children who bully may also have higher levels of depression,
anger, and impulsivity.

Every flu season is different, and even healthy people can get extremely sick from the flu, as well as spread it to others. The flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May. Every person over six months of age should get an annual flu vaccine. The vaccine cannot cause you to get influenza, but in some seasons, may not be completely able to prevent you from acquiring influenza due to changes in causative viruses. The viruses in the flu shot are killed—there is no way they can give you the flu. Minor side effects include soreness, redness, or swelling where the shot was given. It is possible to develop a slight fever, and body aches, but these are simply signs that the body is responding to the vaccine and making itself ready to fight off the influenza virus should you come in contact with it.
