ANSWER: (1) Place infants in positions where they can practice developing muscular control. (2) Move young infants in several different positions several times a day. (3) Interact with infants in order to stimulate them. (4) Use toys and materials to play with the infant.

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER: Stage 1 is the reflexive stage. Infants change from passive reactions to active searching. In Stage 2, infants begin to coordinate their senses. They begin to development hand-mouth coordination, eye coordination, and eye-ear coordination.
