ANSWER: The American Academy of Pediatrics has suggested that the time infants and toddlers spend in front of the televisions, computers, and educational games be eliminated for children under 2 years of age and limited to one hour a day for all older children.

ANSWER: The child should have experiences that enhance his or her physical, emotional, social, and cognitive/ language development. The caregiver is responsible for planning and facilitating this holistic curriculum.
