Answer to Question 1

TRUE

Answer to Question 2

Preparation is key in taking young children to musical, dance, and theatrical performances.

1.Select programs that are especially designed for children and which relate to themes and projects that are ongoing in the classroom.
2.Read books beforehand about the art form and the artists.
3.See if you can schedule time to meet with the performers after the show or invite them to visit the classroom.
4.Talk to children about what they can expect and go over how they are to behave.
5.Afterward, ask questions about the performance that elicits understanding and compares the story to other formats (books, puppet shows, videos). Have them express opinions about the play through a drawing or dictation.

This condition is progressive and worsens with time. More than 100 million people in the United States are nearsighted, but only 20% of those are born with the condition. Diet, eye exercise, drug therapy, and corrective lenses can all help manage nearsightedness.
