Thinking about the learning environment in this way makes sure that when planning the learning space, none of the necessary spatial components are forgotten.
1.The piazza represents the large whole group area where people meet to talk about what has happened and in which to hold special events.
2.The streets and paths represent the pace that needs to be provided so that children can move easily in an orderly way about the room.
3.The small gathering spots represent the learning centers and places where children can do small group work.
