M Choose materials carefully so that all children will be successful using them. Make modifications as needed to meet individual requirements.
O Build into the activity objectives taken from individual children's Individualized
Education Plan (IEP).
S Change the classroom setting to provide the best use of space for every child. This may require designating certain areas for specific activities.
T Children with special needs may require more time to engage in and complete an activity.
