considering that children must use language to learn it, and that the most verbal children tend to monopolize language interactions

knowing the individual child, including issues around bilingualism, dialect differences, and speech and language disorders

paying attention to what children sayand how they say it

planning the environment (indoors and outdoors), focusing on skills, and using themes
