ANSWER:

Create time in the daily schedule for periods of physical activity, both indoors and out.

Actively participate while supervising, and encourage all children to become involved in strenuous activity.

Set goals for childrens motor development and physical fitness.
d.
Select age-appropriate equipment and materials, providing a variety of props to enhance their use.
e.
Give children opportunities to repeat, practice, and refine the skills they learn.

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER:
Physical development contributes to a childs self-concept. With practice comes a sense of competence because children can learn to relax as they gain experience in physical activities and reduce the stress of anticipating failure. Competence breeds self-confidence and a willingness to try greater challenges. Children gain great satisfaction from discovering their own physical strengths and limitations.
