The multidisciplinary team develops, implements, and reviews the IEP, which is both a process and a document. The process involves a group of individuals, often referred to as the IEP team, using assessment information, eligibility, and the needs of the student to establish an appropriate specialized educational program for a student with disabilities. The document is a record of the decisions that have been agreed upon by the team.
