Patient was seen at urgent care c/o difficulty in opening her mouth. She also stated she was having problems swallowing. When asked if she had any pain, she pointed to the submandibular area. The physician palpated the area and could feel what seemed to be a small salivary stone, which was confirmed on x-ray. The physician massaged the area and had hoped to express the stone. Unfortunately, he could not. Patient was referred to an oral surgeon for further examination and removal of the stone. Dx: Sialolithiasis
