One effective way to reduce isolated behavior is to:
◦ draw the child out gently when he retreats from the group by giving him extra love and attention.
◦ provide a social reward whenever the child approaches the group.
◦ send the child to a psychologist.
◦ allow the child to mature at his own rate so he can become more social when he is ready.
