Student Activity: Interview a teacher in a local school who has been teaching at that school for at least 10 years. Ask the teacher to describe how the roles of teachers in that school have changed over the past ten years. Ask what added responsibilities teachers have assumed in the areas of school governance and curriculum development. Refer to text and additional resources.
