This 26-year-old patient has suffered with a deviated nasal septum, chronic maxillary sinusitis, turbinate hypertrophy, and nasal obstruction for most of her adult life. In the clinic last week we discussed the proposed surgery and recovery time. She is now admitted for the surgery as discussed. She underwent a septoplasty, nasal endoscopy with bilateral maxillary antroscopy and removal of maxillary polyp, and submucous resection of the inferior turbinates, bilaterally. She tolerated anesthesia and the procedure well and was transferred to the recovery room in stable condition.
