Solve and find the value of y, given 3(1-2y) + 5y = 5

Question 2

Solve: + 2x = $115.10

Answer 1

3(1-2y) + 5y = 5
-y + 3 = 5
y = -2

Answer 2

+ 2x = $115.10
+ 2.11452x = $115.10
⇒ 3.06442x = $115.10
x = $37.56
