America was formed originally as a limited democracy. Only white men of property could vote. Slaves counted as 3/5ths of a person and Native Americans did not count at all. What do you think our forefathers were basing these decisions of how America's democracy was formed? In modern society today, in what groups is the majority of power still held and why and what groups are still disenfranchised lack equality and power? Give examples and several ideas that could help facilitate change.
