Two girls are playing with a puzzle in their classroom. Although both girls are the same age, Ada is developmentally delayed and Mina is somewhat more cognitively advanced than her peers. Ada cannot complete the puzzle by herself, but Mina helps her by presenting two pieces at a time and asking Ada to choose the right one. This is an example of:
