A group of teachers sit in the teacher's lounge discussing their students. They remark on how bright and driven the Asian Americans are in their class. What effect is this attitude likely to have on the students?
◦ The students will feel more proud of their abilities in school because they have an inclusive view of self.
◦ The students will perform better, since positive stereotypes are motivating and lead to an internal locus of control.
