Answer 1

During a recession, incomes tend to fall so this would adversely affect travel and tourism products. The opposite happens during economic expansions when incomes are rising.

Answer 2

A satellite office is a remote sales office of a CVB. It generates sales leads for potential business to the home office and serves meeting planners' needs in their home location. Many satellite offices can be found in Washington D.C. or state capitals where many national and state associations are located.
