More mergers are probably needed because individual companies may be too weak to survive another recession, spike in oil prices, terrorism, etc. However, mergers are no panacea. Problems of integration are legendary in the industry due to warring unions, and corporate culture clashes are among the obstacles to successful mergers.

Answer 2

Regional parks are within easy driving distance of their target audiences and do not attract many overnight guests. Destination parks involve longer distances and generate a considerable amount of revenue from visitors staying at least two days.
