Amusement parks simply concentrate on rides, fast-food outlets, and unthemed game arcades while theme parks rely on comic book or movie characters defining the various attractions within the park.

Unfortunately yes, because radical religious and political groups around the world seem to be proliferating and such groups, first and foremost, are anxious to gain publicity for their causes. Blowing up airplanes, hotels, and tourist hangouts will gain that publicity for them.
