Answer 1

True

Answer 2

The Confederacy needed foreign assistance to overcome the Union's significant material advantage, and students should recognize that Britain's reliance on southern cotton presented the best opportunity. Students may point to the Lincoln's handling of the Trent affair as a lost opportunity for the Confederacy to win greater British support. Students may also wish to examine how the issue impacted Confederate decisions to invade the North in 1862 and 1863 . But the main sticking point was the Confederacy's reliance on slavery. Good students should determine whether or not it was even possible for the Confederacy to win British support without destroying the southern vision of society. It is especially important to consider how the Emancipation Proclamation changed the external view of the war and the Confederacy's chances of assistance from Europe.

There are major differences in the metabolism of morphine and the illegal drug heroin. Morphine mostly produces its CNS effects through m-receptors, and at k- and d-receptors.
